From Irish bees foraging on the spring and summer flowers, we can offer you Billy’s floral honey harvested from his own apairy. Our top quality fully free range eggs are also locally sourced and we serve only the best coffee.
Planning a staycation… Your canine friend is more than welcome at Bridgeview Pet and Grooming kennels next door to us. Our friend John provides comfortable warm beds and generous unit spaces. Your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise through the fields and in the new astroturf run.
Going on an adventure, treat yourself to our gourmet picnic hamper. And on those rainy summer evenings, when you want to put your feet up, indulge in a woodfired pizza made with the freshest mouthwatering ingredients.
Voted the top 5 weekend trail in Ireland, the historic woods of Glanageenty is a 10 minute drive. Take a hike on the many marked trails in Glanageenty. A dense forest along a steep glen allows shafts of warm sunlight to illuminate the colorful canopy below. There are seats and picnic tables dotted around the forest at opportune points to allow you to catch your breath and to take in the mountain views and wildlife.

After I decided I wanted the picturesque Co. Kerry as my wedding destination I knew that I wanted to get ready and leave a "Home away from my home" environment
I am so thankful to Deirdre and John for welcoming my family, bridal party(12) and I to their B&B. Deirdre treated me so well throughout my wedding journey from the first meeting, provided a friendly relaxed environment with fantastic food and decoration throughout their home. The attention to detail and care we received was amazing. My make- up artist and hair stylist for my bridal party were all provided with seating and a bright private area with a separate reception sitting room. The grounds provided a fabulous backdrop for our photos and breakfast was provided throughout the morning to everyone at different times to fit our schedule. My parents and friends felt so relaxed and together we could really enjoy the morning together.
I would highly recommend the team at Cloghan Lodge B&B to take all the stress out of the night before and morning of your wedding. There was plenty of room to have my closest family and friends close to me getting ready for my Wedding Day and ensured a relaxing environment with no stress or worries. I was treated like a princess. My family and I will always treasure John & Deirdre and Cloghan Lodge.
Cloghan Lodge is my favourite Bed and Breakfast in Ireland. Why? I work as a tour guide. I travel Ireland for a living and stay in B&B’s the length and breadth of the land. There are three things that are essential: a great sleep, a wonderful shower and lastly a fine breakfast. 100% on all three. Nowhere in the country gets these three right in the way that Cloghan Lodge does. For the tourist, trust me, Castleisland is a more authentic version of touristy Killarney. I highly recommend this place as a base for a few days in Kerry. Most of all, beyond all of these it is the people. Deirdre and her family are warm and welcoming in the true Irish spirit of hospitality. Don’t drive past, trust me.
